The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area of Portugal, providing a truly tranquil and beautiful setting for a relaxing getaway. The gardens surrounding the hotel are lovely, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money, with reasonable prices for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the rooms, such as the bunk beds, added a touch of uniqueness to the experience. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure a pleasant stay. They were friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast, which was the best I had during my time in Portugal.

Had a wonderful Christmas break in a remote, peaceful location with a beautiful lake. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious, especially the Christmas dinner! We appreciated the kayaks and paddleboards available for use on the lake, as well as the scenic walking trails around the grounds.

The remote location made it difficult to access without a car and the bumpy dirt road was quite an adventure. , there was no wifi or cellular reception, making it difficult to stay connected with loved ones during the holidays.

We had a wonderful weekend in a peaceful location, surrounded by nature. The lack of phone service and TV was refreshing. The view of the lake was breathtaking and made for a picturesque backdrop. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, making sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, especially the local cuisine, and the staff was always on-hand. One of the best things was that they offered local activities, such as bird watching, that allowed us to fully embrace the area and its wildlife.

The location was remote, and transportation limited. This meant that dining options outside of the hotel were few and far between.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel with its beautiful location on a hill overlooking the lake. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were fantastic. We loved the breakfast which had a great variety of options and the staff made us feel very welcome.

We recently stayed at a beautiful and tranquil place in the Alentejo region. Located in the secret valley, surrounded by breathtaking views, this hotel offers clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a view of the lake. The service provided by the owners was exceptional. We enjoyed the homemade food and wine, and the dining experience was a highlight of our stay. This hotel also offers birdwatching excursions and free boating and swimming facilities.

One downside to our stay was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. Even though it was not necessary during our visit in September, it could be an issue during the hotter months.
